In Transcarpathia, twenty educational institutions are under police protection
Currently, more than 20 educational institutions in Transcarpathia are under police protection.
In addition, officers of the Protection Police Department in Transcarpathia region work every day to increase the number of protected educational institutions, as in total there are more than 300 such institutions on the territory of the region.
Because, given the hard times in the country, every institution for children requires reliable protection and high security of students.
To ensure safety for future generations in the new semester, protection police officers gathered at an extraordinary meeting. The main and the only issue is safety in educational institutions.
- Unfortunately, these are not the best of times for the country. Criminals will not stop at nothing. Often, even children become victims of the offenders. For example, in December, in Sumy region, an unknown man with a gun robbed a schoolboy - the deputy head of the Police Protection Department in Transcarpathian region, police captain Serhiy Lysenko said.
- The thief fortunately was detained. Therefore, we must do everything possible to make such incidents impossible in our region - Serhiy Lysenko added.
Also, the police captain told representatives of the departments that security of schools is above all, and gave the command to check technical facilities at educational institutions that are already under police protection.
- Nothing should interfere in the provision of quality protection at schools. Safety of the country's future is our priority. You need to be on guard, - Serhiy Lysenko says.
