In first in the region Parliamentary caroling started in Transcarpathia

On January 11, for the first time in the history of Transcarpathia, parliamentary caroling began in the region. Deputies of Rakhiv district council chaired by Vasyl Dan, dressed in authentic Hutsul clothes, accompanied by accordion and trembitas sang carols to residents of Rakhiv.

During three days from 11 to 13 of January, the deputies, starting caroling with Rakhiv District State Administration, visited village councils, government offices, major enterprises of the district and finished in the district council.  The main purpose of the parliamentary caroling, besides festive mood and promotion of traditions, was the collection of funds for the needs of the ATO, namely the purchase of the necessary ammunition for the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade.
