Gifts of Hope in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Have you ever seen a Christmas tree made of gift boxes? It's stylish, original and twice as exciting, because each after the holiday all gifts were given to children. For the fifth time, Transcarpathia - Khust, Beregovo, Uzhgorod and Vynogradiv - received the team of the social movement that has taken a number of charitable missions to support families and protect children.

So, two thousand children of our region received gifts of Hope, 1000 packages were sent to the East of Ukraine.  Also, 35 churches were involved in the collection of gifts and during the 7 days of the missionary journey, children, including internally displaced persons from the ATO area, were receiving gifts. And in five cities of Transcarpathia, concerts with participants of the show "Little Giants" and "The Voice-children" and young titled athletes - champions of Ukraine - took place.

Vynogradiv was visited by young students from Kyiv, who were personating various fairytale characters, charmingly singing and showing new and interesting games and theatrical performances.

And now the long-awaited moment - the distribution of gifts which were collected by representatives of churches, private entrepreneurs and ordinary people.  In addition, children were also given decorated books "Find Light in the Dark" by Viktor Kuzmenko.

Among the participants of the Vynogradiv event "Christmas began with Christ", there were many children and parents who left the ATO zone, but found their refuge in the city and district. Former resident of Luhansk region Anastasia Alatartseva, who founded in Vynogradiv and became the chairman of the charity fund "House of Mercy", takes care of them.
