The Unity of Ukraine train “Trukhaniv Sich” will stop in Uzhgorod

The UZ for the third time supported the nationwide campaign "Unity of Ukraine Train "Trukhaniv Sich" by providing a train for the activists of the patriotic movement. The campaign was initiated by volunteers and community leaders under the program of the President of Ukraine to support national unity. The third Unity train will be travelling for more than two weeks between western cities of the country and will depart from Kyiv tentatively on October 20, 2016.

The aim of the campaign is to promote the consolidation of society and understanding between residents of different parts of Ukraine, to raise patriotic spirit and to promote the national culture. Currently, the Ukrzaliznytsia experts, together with the organizers of the campaign, are developing the itinerary of the third agitation train, which, tentatively from October 20 to November 5, 2016, will visit a number of cities in the western region with a patriotic mission.

It is assumed that the train consisting of 9 carriages will depart from Kyiv, and residents of Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Mukachevo, Uzhgorod, Kovel, Lutsk and Rivne will be able to join the campaign along the way. From Rivne, the train will go back to the capital.

The passengers of the agitation train – artists, volunteers and community leaders – will hold concerts, lectures and various creative workshops in schools and houses of culture in these cities.
