The reconstruction of facades and rooftops overhauls on Sandor Petofi Square in Uzhgorod continue. The works are being performed according to the comprehensive program of the historic city center restoration.
In particular, they are renovating the houses number 1, 10, 13 on Petofi Square, completing the work in the house number 12. Before that, they renovated the houses number 9, 11. Soon, they will begin reconstruction, and now are developing projects for the houses number 38 ( "Crystal") and another one near the square – at the corner of Pravoslavna embankment (number 2).
All works are financed from the city budget, only 1% of the cost is paid by the tenants. The overhaul of the pedestrian part of the Petofi Square, near the pedestrian bridge will begin soon.
