Geography of Transcarpathian majoritarian deputies: which countries’ parliaments are chosen for cooperation

Each MP of Ukraine, in addition to factions or groups, can be a member of a group on interparliamentary relations with foreign states. Those are groups for cooperation with fellow parliamentarians abroad. So, which countries are in the interests of the six Transcarpathian majoritarian deputies?

Six Transcarpathian deputies in total are members of 16 groups on interparliamentary relations.

Overall, according to the OPORA, the most popular countries for cooperation among the current parliamentarians are the US (139 members), China (90 members) and Germany (89 members).

Only one of the six majoritarian deputies from Transcarpathian region is in the governing structure – it is Robert Horvat, he is the deputy co-chairman of the group on interparliamentary relations with Slovakia.

As for the membership of Transcarpathian deputies in specific groups, the situation is as follows.
