Employees of the Transcarpathian customs office together with border guards found at the customs post "Tisa" hidden 1960 packs of cigarettes "Winston" and "Mallboro" with excise stamps.
The tobacco products were found in a minibus "Mercedes Sprinter" driven by a citizen of Ukraine.
During the customs control, the vehicle was sent for advanced customs inspection, during which the undeclared and concealed from customs control cigarettes were found. The cigarettes were in a couch that the resident of Chernivtsi region was carrying at the request of friends.
These actions of the citizen have signs of the customs rules violation provided for in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up, the bus was confiscated.
