Vision Zero. In Uzhgorod, activists will discuss how to reduce the number of deaths on the roads of the city (Announcement)

Statistics is shocking. As of October 1, 2016, 1058 traffic accidents have occurred on the roads served by the Office of patrol police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, including 206 accidents with injured and dead people. In total, 19 people were killed and 253 were injured.

Vision Zero is the title of the event on traffic safety, which is scheduled to take place in the regional center to prevent deaths on the roads. The project tite apparently implies zero visibility, which often happens on the roads and leads to tragic consequences.

The co-founders of the NGO "Vision Zero" Victor Zahreba and Andriy Koman will present their exploratory studies in this field.

Everybody is invited to participate in the discussion of this socially important topic – October 25, 2016, at 16.00, in the assembly hall of Uzhgorod city council.
