From 24 to 27 of November, 2016, the tenth Nationwide music contest "Voice of the country" was taking place in Kyiv. The event is held to identify talented Ukrainian music performers, encourage outstanding teachers and reward leading music schools in the country. For the second time, 19 students and the choir "Astra" of the teachers of Uzhgorod art school for children participated and won in the creative competition.
A number of students in various specialties received diplomas of the "Winner of I and II degree".
Teachers of the art school, who participated in the competition, received diplomas for contribution to the professional music education and a high level of skills of the participants of the Nationwide music contest "Voice of the country".
In the team event, the institution once again won the title of the "Best musical institution in Ukraine" and the certificate for 10,000 UAH. This is the first time in the history of the contest where the same school received the title twice in a year (in February 2016 and November 2016).
