The operational-rescue service received a report about the need for evacuation of an employee from the flooded water intake of Perechyn timber and chemical plant, which is located on the bank of the Uzh river.
At the time the report was received, the water level at the site was about one and a half meter. To evacuate the man from the flooded area, a diving and rescue department of the special purpose rescue squad was sent at the scene. The rescuers got to the man by boat and evacuated him from the flooded area. The man did not need medical care.
