Cars will not be drowning anymore – in Uzhgorod, repair work under the notorious bridge has begun (PHOTOS)

As was announced, in Uzhgorod, the work has finally started to solve a long-term problem with water, which gets accumulated during heavy rains under the bridge on Antonivska-Ankudinov streets. Employees of the contractor, that won the tender for the construction of surface water drainage with the arrangement of sewerage pumping station (SPS) at the intersection of Antonivska-Ankudinov streets in Uzhgorod, are carrying out installation works today. To minimize inconvenience to drivers, vehicular traffic was blocked only when necessary.

The project provides for the arrangement of SPS and construction of two sewer lines to discharge surface water to the sewer collector on Ruska street to solve the long-term problem in the city.
