Transcarpathian deputies appealed to Groisman and Yatsenyuk about banning Russian business

At the extraordinary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the deputies considered an important appeal to the state authorities. It concerns sanctions against Russian business in Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Union of the ATO Combatants "Brothers of Ukraine. Uzhgorod" Mykola Marchyshak (coordinator of the "Bear blockade") addressed the audience in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Council:

"Please support our initiative, which began with a blockade of Russian trucks. I, as a soldier, as a former prisoner who was in Russian captivity, want to emphasize that it is painful for me to watch the business of the aggressor country working and thriving in Ukraine. Please support the appeal to the state authorities to take sanctions against the aggressor country, the occupier country."

And here is the conclusion of the appeal to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Government proposed to be adopted by the Transcarpathian deputies "to take a decision on the suspension of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation until the end of the annexation of Crimea and military operations in the territory of Ukraine".

44 deputies of those, who have registered in the hall, voted for the appeal. Two abstained.

The decision was adopted. Such appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional Council is the first of its kind in the region.
