The second anthology “March Cats” has been released: currently, electronically

The paper edition for sale, according to the originator Vik Kovrey, will be releaseed at the next festival or sooner, uzhgorod.net.ua informs. The book is issued with the support of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

"The second anthology "March Cats" contains works of the participants of the festival for the last five years – 2011-2015. Those are 60 authors, "including 24 women, 13 – from Transcarpathia, 35 – young people (under 28 years), 6 foreigners (from 4 countries)" – Vik Kovrey reported. Traditionally, the publication is structured by years when the festivals took place.

During the presentation, both the authors included in the second anthology and those, whose texts will be included in the third one, were reading their texts. In particular, Valentin Kuzan, Vik Kovrey, Nataliya Borovik, John Hnativ, Miroslav Honcharuk-Khomyn, Svitlana Lisovska, as well as Olya Perekhrest, Halyna Tanai, Tania-Maria Litvinyuk. The poetic reading was accompanied by presentation of the photos of all writers of the festivals in five years and the display of the e-book on the screen.

Also at the presentation, the Grand Prix was awarded. This year it was deservedly won by Svitlana Lisovska for organizing the residence "Mala Shtatsiya" in Uzhgorod. The young poet received a metal nib made by sculptor Eduard Mahdynets.

By the way, the Grand Prix has been awarded to Yuri Vynnychuk, Bogdan Zadura, Pavlo Kovacs, Klaus Greenberg, Mikhai Gabay, Yuri Andrukhovych and others.
