The UZ reminds passengers that on March 27, Ukraine will switch to daylight saving time. The time of departures and arrivals of trains is indicated in tickets with this switch taken into account.
Due to the transition to daylight saving time on March 27, 2016, at 3:00 (clocks will be re-set one hour ahead), the UZ has corrected the schedule of passenger trains. Therefore, passengers who have planned a trip on the weekend, and those who are going meet guests at train stations should be careful and timely check their watches.
All changes have been made in advance and agreed with the administrations of neighboring countries. Thus, time of departures and arrivals is indicated in tickets based on the adjustment to the train timetable.
Recall, the transition to and from daylight saving time takes place in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dd. May 13, 1996 № 509 "On the procedure for calculating time on the territory of Ukraine".
