Slovakia provides scholarships for Ukrainian students and teachers

Ukrainian students and academics can apply for a scholarship for study and internship in higher educational institutions of the Slovak Republic.

According to Article 1 of the current Programme of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic in the field of education, Slovakia is ready to accept up to 5 students for partial studies in higher educational institutions (up to 10 months) and up to 5 trainees and doctoral / PhD students (to collect materials in the study of scientific literature on the theses topics) for a total period of 10 months.

The Slovak Republic will provide Ukrainian citizens with:

  • Free education.
  • Payment of scholarships in the amounts established for foreign students and doctoral / PhD students in the Slovak Republic;
  • Accommodation in student dormitories.

The MES will be accepting applications (completed application form and required documents) in electronic and paper format in 2 copies (the first set of documents - originals, the second set - copies).

Scanned PDF documents must be sent by email to the MES [email protected], stating in the subject line "Scholarships to study in the Slovak Republic in 2016".

The list of required documents is on the last page of the application form.

Application form is also posted on the website of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
