Revenues from tourist tax in Transcarpathia have significantly increased

The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of Svalyava district - UAH 95 thousand, in Beregovo district - UAH 40 thousand and in Vynogradiv district - UAH 33 thousand. Meanwhile, growth of this figure was recorded in almost all districts of the region, - the department reported.
Also, the number of tourists, who visited Transcarpathian region, has increased. In January, the region was visited by 25% more tourists than in the first month of the last year.

This positive trend is attributed to more practical Program of Tourism and Resorts Development, which is being implemented in the region, support for the sector from the regional budget and increasing attention of domestic tourists to Transcarpathian region.
