Organizers told about this year's "March Cats 2016"

In Uzhgorod Press Club, there was a press conference of the organizers of this year's love festival "March Cats 2016".

Nadia Vats and Petro Ryaska told about this year's festival plan of events, its participants and the rest of the features. This year's "March Cats 2016" will be held on March 25-27 in Uzhgorod.

"This year it is the 11th festival. We will surprise visitors with art, music and good poetry - Nadia Vats says. - The first opening day starts with the presentation of visual art - the project "The Book." "It is an interesting format for the "March Cats", because artists will not be presenting projects in space - Petro Ryaska comments. - Each author will make a work on paper or canvas the size of a sheet, which will be filed in one art book. The presentation will be held in the "Corridor" gallery on the opening day of the festival.

As for the poetry part, the festival will bring together young and already recognized poets from all over Ukraine. For this year's festival, the anthology "March Cats" (a collection of works by poets who have taken part in the last years) was published. All poems will be read by the authors who will attend the festival.       The festival will take place in several locations: Puppet Theatre, bar "Cactus", "Snack bar" and "Corridor" gallery.  On Teatralna Square, the participants will hold a musical performance.

The festival will be attended by some 30 poets and musicians, as well as painters - in total almost 70 artists are involved in the project "The Book."

Young singer from Lviv Marianna Klochko will close the festival.

The "March Cats" will finish with the traditional "Chicherone Shator" party. The organizers invite to enjoy three days of love in all formats.
