The first deputy mayor of Mukachevo Rostislav Fediv met with the CEO of the "Nyíregyháza-Sportcentrum" Arpad Kos, representatives of the company Erne Sitku, Richard Kigolmy. They talked about the cooperation in the development of sports industry.

Arpad Kos said that Hungarian partners were willing to cooperate especially in the area of children's and youth sports development. "We are ready to take your young athletes to our sports centers for training, to give them scholarships. We are also interested in the development of infrastructure in the city - we are ready to take up the projects. Another aspect of our possible cooperation concerns joint sports tournaments."

Rostislav Fediv stated: the city is ready for large-scale projects for the development of sports infrastructure. Those include building of sports facilities, including implementation of projects at the expense of European grants. "Besides, this year, the funding for sports programs in the city has been increased by almost 6 times. Talented athletes and coaches receive scholarships. And we plan to increase funding for the industry. We are not happy about the state of sports facilities. So, the projects for reconstruction of sports halls have already been prepared" - the first deputy mayor shared the plans.

The parties have agreed to start preparations for the signing of a cooperation agreement.
