In Uzhgorod district, 57-year-old woman got burnt on fire

Today, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the apartment of a residential building located on the territory of a Roma settlement in the village of Velyki Heyivtsi in Uzhgorod district. The fire was reported by relatives of the 57-year-old homeowner living in the neighborhood. They brought the woman into the street and gave her to paramedics.

Firefighters of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod, State Fire and Rescue Post of the village of Velyka Dobron and the local fire brigade of the village of Mali Heyivtsi took part in elimination of the fire.  In total 3 vehicles and 12 personnel members were engaged in fire extinguishing. 

The owner of the appartment with numerous I-IV degree thermal burns was taken to the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Hospital.   The woman is being treated in the intensive care unit. Her health condition is defined as serious.
