In 2016, Transcarpathia has already received 356 million hryvnia
In January-February 2016, local budgets of Transcarpathian region received over UAH 356 million of tax payments. This amount of revenues is UAH 141 million 193 thousand more than that in the same period last year.
It should be noted that the main source of revenues to local budgets is individual income tax. During the first two months of 2016, the revenues from this tax amounted to almost UAH 190 million. The next largest sources of revenues are: the excise tax on retail trade of excise goods - more than UAH 67 million 240 thousand, single tax - more than UAH 57 million 170 thousand, land fee - more than UAH 27 million 760 thousand, others.
In terms of taxes and fees paid to local budgets and controlled by regional bodies of the SFS, the largest amount of revenues was provided by Mukachevo district STI - almost UAH 77 million, followed by Uzhgorod city STI - over UAH 72 million; followed by Uzhgorod district STI - more than UAH 48 million 555 thousand.
The specialists of the SFS in the region say that a good use of funds received by the local budgets will effectively develop the region's economy. Communities receive the opportunity to use the funds for specific needs of settlements.
It should be noted that Transcarpathian citizens understand that by paying taxes in full, they help to increase economic development and social welfare as their region and the country in general.
