Illegal migrants from Syria and Vietnam tried to get to the EU through Transcarpathia

Border guards of the Chop and Mukachevo detachments, in areas of responsibility of the departments "Velyky Berezny" and "Luzhanka", found nine illegal immigrants from Syria and Vietnam, who tried to illegally enter the EU countries.

Yesterday, border guards of the department "Velyky Berezny" of the Chop detachment, after receiveing reports from local residents, arrested seven citizens of Vietnam near the border with Slovakia.

.  Four men and three women, who were turned out to be Vietnamese citizens, were undocumented. They said they were going to get to the EU.

Also, border guards of the department "Luzhanka" of the Mukachevo detachment detained two people from Syria who also sought a better life in a EU member state.

 

 They had no IDs. In the course of filtration measures, they reported that they were citizens of Syria. Also, one of the detainees had been living in Ukraine for nearly 11 years, but decided to try to get one of the European countries to improve living conditions. Currently, the detainees were taken to the temporary detention center, their further fate will be determined by court.
