Flower Fever (PHOTO)
Whole Uzhgorod has turned into a blooming garden - in stores, shopping pavilions and outdoors, everywhere some sell and others buy flowers. Florists say: "Although we were preparing bouquets deep into the night, today we came to work at seven."
Some offer imported plants, others - home-grown ones, like, for an example, Mr. Andriy from Korolevo: "Every year, I grow tulips for the holiday in the greenhouse. Thousands. All from Dutch seed."
Everything is on sale - from primroses and tulips at 15-20 hryvnia for a flower to bouquets at one and a half thousand. March 8 is the day when Uzhgorod really looks like garden.
