At the customs office, a Ukrainian underestimated the cost of a car by more than 5000 Euro

Yesterday, at the customs post "Uzhgorod" of the Transcarpathian customs office, customs officers prevented an illegal attempt to import a car to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian selected the "red corridor" for customs control. The citizen drove to the checkpoint by a car "SKODA" model "YETI" with transit license plate. He was going from Slovakia to Ukraine on private matters.

According to the shipping documents submitted to the customs office, he was importing to Ukraine a car "SKODA" model "YETI", 2014, with the total cost of 7200 Euro.

In the course of customs control, customs officials found a discrepancy about the seller and the cost of the vehicle.

As a result of analytical and search activities, they checked the information with the customs authorities of Slovakia. After processing of the information, it was found out that the seller of the car was a company from the Netherlands, and its cost was 12300 Euro.

Thus, the citizen submitted documents containing false information about the sender and cost of the car.

Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up, the vehicle was seized.
