A book by Volodymyr Ladyzhets was presented in Uzhgorod

In the Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth, there was a presentation of a new book for children, which was published recently in the national state publishing house "Karpaty". It is a collection of selected poems for children by Volodymyr Ladyzhets, known Transcarpathian poet and prose writer, translator, member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, laureate of the Lesia Ukrainka Prize. The collection was named after the most popular poem of the writer - "Oh, my tooth is aching...".

Children's poetry of Volodymyr Ladyzhets is a phenomenon of Ukrainian literature for children. Because only a loving and sincere person can write for children. Many generations of boys and girls were raised on his poems, Volodymyr Ladyzhets's poetry for them is a memory of a happy carefree childhood. And now young readers got a new wonderful gift from the publishing house "Karpaty".

A multimedia presentation, prepared by the library staff, introduced the guests to the life and work of Volodymyr Ladyzhets. They presented unique photos of the author from the family album.

Students of the College of Culture and Arts presented a theatrical staging of poems "Bim-Bol" and "Watchmen". And, as it turned out, poems of the poet are still relevant...

Visitors were particularly pleased by the youngest participants of the holiday. Children reciting funny and cheerful, humorous and instructive poems of Volodymyr Ladyzhets left no one indifferent.

Pictures of the poet's granddaughter - Olga Ladyzhets - became a real decoration of the reading room of the library. They present a unique world of imagery that reflects the themes of children's poems.

The holiday guests said many kind words about Volodymyr Ladyzhtsya as a poet, friend, colleague, creator of hundreds of works full of warmth and joy that always find new readers. Because the Poet lives as long as there is at least one reader of his lines.
