What do you associate Uzhgorod with? (MINI-SURVEY RESULTS)

A correspondent of Uzhgorod.in asked this question in the social network VK

Answers of the followers of the group "Uzhgorod" were various. In particular, a user Sanyok Kukharsky singled out Nezalezhnist embankment and Uzhgorod train station. Another community member associated the regional center of Transcarpathia with… Radvanka neighbourhood. Maria Gorbatyuk in turn wrote briefly: "Autumn, the smell of putrid leaves and grapes." Katerina Peleshko believes that Uzhgorod is cherry blossom, delicious and aromatic coffee and cakes of Valentin Shtefanyo.

And Volodymyr Khyla is not a native of Uzhgorod but admits that over the last 2 years the city has become a native for him. "Uzhgorod is a tale. Its streets are small, cozy and beautiful. It is a Ukrainian Paris, a Ukrainian Europe. Walking the streets of Uzhgorod, you really believe that you are in Europe. The face of the city is formed by time and history… History  gave Ungvar a beautiful face. The architecture  pleases the eyes of everyone who passes by, " – he wrote.

Vitaly Borovik characterizes Uzhgorod with rest.  "When you are sitting on the bank of the evening Uzh in the lime alley…" – he writes.

In short, the regional center of Transcarpathia is mostly seen as a romantic small but European town with quiet streets and quays, delicious sweets and fragrant flowering Japanese cherries.
