In Uzhgorod, a man fell from a nine-storey building

Policemen were going to detain an offender, and had to provide first aid instead.

A curious incident occurred on the night of May 3 in Uzhgorod on Mozhaisky street. Around one in the morning, the police received a call from a vigilant Uzhgorod citizen. The applicant said that near his house an unknown man, probably a burglar, was trying to break into someone’s appartment.

Imagine the surprise of the policemen when they found out the circumstances under which the 39-year-old resident of Uzhgorod had ended up in the bushes. It turned out that the local resident had not sneaked up there, but fallen down from the balcony of his apartment on the 5th floor. When he was taking down the laundry, that was drying out, he tripped over the railing and fell, landing more or less successfully.

As a result of the fall, the Uzhgorod resident suffered minor bruises and an open fracture of the leg. The police provided the victim first aid and called an ambulance. The ambulance took the victim to the Central City Clinical Hospital of Uzhgorod, where he is being treated now, the Department of Communications of Transcarpathian regional police informed.
