Uzhgorod police detained a man with drugs (PHOTOS)

On June 26, at about 00:15, a crew of Uzhgorod patrol police noticed on Kapushanska street a man who was behaving suspiciously. When the policemen approached him, he was noticably anxious.
The policemen saw him trying to discreetly throw a paper roll out of the shorts pocket.
Suspecting that the content of the roll could be illegal, the policemen called an investigative team and guarded the scene and the evidence until their arrival.
Upon the arrival of investigators and in the presence of witnesses, the roll was examined – it contained a brown substance similar to marijuana, possibly with the admixture of other psychotropic chemicals.
The 42-year-old man was detained. His actions had signs of a criminal offense, in particular illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sending of narcotics, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the intention of sale.
All the evidence was seized by the investigators who are working on this case.
