Tomorrow, the seminar “Comparative analysis of war events in the Balkans and in Ukraine. Legal protection” will be held in Uzhgorod

On June 15 at 18:00 in the premises of the NGO "Kolping Society in Ukraine" at Shvabska str., 25 (2nd floor, room №10), there will be a seminar for internally displaced persons and journalists. The seminar will address events in Eastern Ukraine. During the seminar, the Public Reception of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union in Uzhgorod will present comparative description of the war in the Balkans and the experience of the participants of those events in documenting war crimes against humanity.

 During the meeting, lecturers will talk about the UHHRU activities and the importance of documenting crimes against humanity, violations of human rights in the area of ​​anti-terrorist operation. Representatives of Uzhgorod local center of free secondary legal aid will inform about the activities of the center and rights of internally displaced persons, including legal aid. Also, during the seminar, internally displaced persons will learn about the activities of the Resource Centre from the NGO "Kolping Society in Ukraine." The presentation "Comparative analysis of events in the Balkans and in Ukraine" concerning the vision and experience of foreign colleagues will also be relevant for journalists.
