The destruction or a so-called restoration of once one of the most beautiful historical monuments of Uzhgorod has been covered for a long time now. So much has already been written, said, argued about the "Crown", and some people even, in the truest sense of the word, shed their blood for it, that most people just cannot fight anymore. But reporters of Uzhgorod in. cannot silently watch the process of destruction or reconstruction. The half-demolished building now can "boast" only pictures of the project on a high wooden fence and old photographs…

But did the owners really have to dismantle the facade to implement their plan?
