Starting June 13, passengers of the train number 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod will be able to travel with their cars

To improve services and the convenience of passengers, the Ukrzaliznytsia arranged for an autorack car in the train number 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod. Using this service, passengers can get to their destination by railway with their cars while relaxing in a comfortable environment and saving the car resources. Passengers will be able to order transportation of their vehicles in a special car of the train number 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod starting the 13th of June.

Thus, the autorack car in the train number 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod will be departing from Kyiv starting June 13 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from Uzhgorod starting June 14 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Passengers will be able to order transportation of cars and receive it at the destination stations in the baggage departments of train stations daily from 8:00 to 17:00. There will be the option to order roundtrip car transportation and tickets for passengers accompanying it. The fare for transportation of a car depends on its weight and distance of travel.

            The UZ service for transportation of vehicles in special cars is in demand among passengers. Thus, in 5 months of 2016, autorack cars transported 1991 vehicles, whereas in the corresponding period of the last year – 871 vehicles.
