In Transcarpathia, there is an operating water mill

"My wife and I visited the owners of possibly the only truly operating water mill in Transcarpathia in the nearby village of Lukovo. 4 km distance by bicycle is short – and the visit is always welcomed. A kilo of real corn flour ground with stones of the watermill is always a valuable product… From the mill that is more than one hundred years old. The master of the house, Denys Ivanovich is 71, and the mistress Olena Ivanivna is in her 60s. We used to meet more often, and were here last summer. It’s all well as long as the old mill wheel is spinning… and the owners live 100 years!"
