In Transcarpathia, 80,000 children will be covere with rehabilitation and recreation

During the summer, 122 children's rehabilitation and recreation facilities will be operating Transcarpathia.   More than 80 thousand children of the region, ten percent of which are of socially vulnerable categories - orphans, disabled, from families with many children, from poor families and so on - will rest there.

These data were announced at a briefing by the head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vitaliy Erfan. According to him, it is planned to cover with rehabilitation 343 children of participants of the antiterrorist operations - this number of applications was received from their parents. And also 289 children from families of displaced persons.

  District state administrations and municipal executive committees were tasked this year to cover with health and recreational services not less than half of school-age children. Vynogradiv, Svalyava, Perechyn districts and the city of Khust showed the best results in this area.

"It is planned to spend more than 16 million hryvnia for rehabilitation campaign in Transcarpathia, including 6 million from the regional budget and almost four million of sponsors' funds. The majority of sponsors' funds will be attracted in Mukachevo, Khust and Vinogradiv and in Perechyn, Svalyava and Mizhhirys district state administrations", - the head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Erfan said.
