Sports journalists launched a flashmob on Facebook in support of the Transcarpathian, world fencing champion Anatoliy Herey, representing Ukraine at the Olympic Games in Rio.
Uzhgorod residents are asked to take pictures next to the billboards with Anatoliy, write him words of support and pass the baton to friends. The hashtag is #goHereygo.
"Friends, you’ve probably heard that this year our glorious Transcarpathia has its participant at the Olympic Games in Rio. Anatoliy Herey – the world fencing champion – for the first time in many years will be representing the region at the most important competition. All over Ukraine, there are flash mobs in support of our Olympians. Transcarpathia, let’s keep up! We invite you to support our countryman!!! To do this, we are launching a sort of a flash mob on FB! The code name is "Selfie with the Olympian."
The conditions are simple: take a photo next to a billboard with our Anatoliy, write a few words in support, post it on your page with hashtag #goHereygo and pass the baton to your friends. (You can take photos and wish Anatoliy success without flashmob too =))
