The best horses of Transcarpathia came to the village of Peterfolvo in Vynogradiv district to take part not so much in the competition, but more like in a holiday.
The event with a noticeable Hungarian accent was arranged by the neighboring state organization together with local Hungarian community. The theme of the event was the history of kuruc. But this time, there was another purpose – to honor the extraordinary animal, faithful friend and helper of Hungarians and all Transcarpathian farmers. Horse is a noble and very beautiful animal. And also, intelligent and skillful. This was proven on the Day of Horses within the Kuruc-Fest.
Visitors were able to vote for the best horse of the holiday, but we believe that every horse was the best. "Kuruc-Fest" takes place every year, the Day of Horses took place for the first time, and we think this tradition should be continued. We don’t know whether anyone has found a horseshoe after the holiday, but such festivals definitely give positive emotions. We share them with you through photos!
