Fatal accident in Uzhgorod: collision with a cyclist ended up deadly for the car driver

The sad accident happened on Gagarin street in Uzhgorod. Around 14.00, the driver of a VAZ 21099 hit a cyclist. The man immediately stopped and got out of the car to help the victim. But almost immediately he was in need of help himself. Paramedics, that were called to the scene, stated the instant death of the 57-year-old driver. Likely, the cause of death was a heart attack due to excessive worrying about the accident. The cyclist was taken by an ambulance. According to preliminary information, he has a broken leg. The situation is under investigation.
