Border guards of the Chop detachment caught a citizen Ukraine with a forged passport

Yesterday, during the passport control at the checkpoint "Tisa", border guards revealed a partial forgery of the passport of a 50-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who was going to Ukraine as a passenger.

In the course of identification, the border guard service inspector doubted the validity of the passport. Therefore, the woman's passport was sent for in-depth examination. During the examination, it was found out that the document had signs of a partial forgery, namely replacement of pages 7 and 8.

The woman was fined under Art. 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine" and handed over to the National Police in Transcarpathian region to give explanations and for further investigation.
