Yesterday, at the checkpoint "Tisa", Chop detachment border guards found signs of partial forgery in the passport of a 44-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who was heading as a passenger from Hungary to Ukraine.
Therefore, the woman’s passport was sent for in-depth examination. During the inspection, it was found that the document had signs of partial forgery, namely: on pages 7 to 8 and 25 to 26, law enforcement officers found discrepancies in watermarks, traces of glue, cut out and pasted pages.
The infringer was fined under Art. 204-1 under CAO "Illegal crossing or attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine" and handed over to the National Police in Transcarpathian region to give explanations and for further investigation.
