Another tragedy on the water has occurred in the region. Yesterday, at the famous quarry in the village of Dyida in Beregovo district, a 23-year-old resident of the village of Kosyno drowned.
The man was resting on the lake with friends, and about 11 o’clock, he went somewhere, leaving the mobile phone and personal items. When the young man did not return, his friends raised the alarm. The disappearance of the man was reported to the police.
The investigative team arrived at the scene. Dog handlers with dogs were searching for the missing man. And in the morning, the body of the victim was found in the water…
Another body of a drowned person was found yesterday in the Tisa river, near the village of Vyshkovo in Khust district.
As the police found out, it was a 50-year-old resident of the village of Bushtyno in Tyachiv region, who had been searched as a missing person. The man suffered from neurological disorders. The cause of death is to be established by forensic expertise.
A 17-year-old boy from the village of Poroshkovo in Perechyn district was injuried while swimming. The young man went to swim with friends in the local river Turya. He plunged into the water, and there he was struck to the eye by a sharp object, most likely a branch. The boy was taken to hospital, where he is waiting for surgery.
Law enforcement officials warn citizens to comply with safety measures while resting near water. Do not go into water while being drunk and in unfamiliar places. Do not dive, without checking the bottom of the reservoir.
