Volodymy Mykyta will present his best works tomorrow

A retrospective exhibition will be opened in the halls of the Y.Bokshai Regional Art Museum tomorrow, on February 5. It will be dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Volodymyr Mykyta, national artist of Ukraine, academician of the National Ukrainian Academy of Arts.

The exhibit will present almost 80 works. There will be broad genre paintings, portraits, still life paintings, landscapes, abstract works performed mostly in the last decade. Topics like spirituality and the picturesque Transcarpathian nature, beloved and to be protected by everyone, worry the artist the most on his modern stage. These topics will probably be observed the most often now. It is interesting to note that the master of the paintbrush has selected the paintings himself. They correspond to his taste and belong to his own collection. Thus, the exhibition will be composed of works considered by the artist to be outstanding.

The exhibition will be opened at 3 p.m. The representatives of the ruling, scientific and art elite, people from different regions and from abroad, family members and numerous admirers of Volodymyr Mykyta's skills will be present at the opening.
