"Uzhhorodska Palachinta" will take place at this weekend! (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The traditional, already the seventh Festival "Uzhhorodska palachinta" will be held in the Bozdosh park, on 27-28 February.

The event considered to be peculiar to Uzhhorod had been planned on 13-14 February but was postponed due to bad weather.

According to Volodymyr Bilonka, the organiser of the event, all the "pros" and "cons" have been weighed, the weather forecast has been studied, the festival is going to be held as it has to be.

The "Palachinta" will include a charitable part. The volunteers of the Movement for supporting Transcarpathian soldiers will raise funds for the Transcarpathian soldiers who fight in the East.

Moreover, a special Valentine's Day will be organised at the festival. It is not linked to the usual date. "There will be a wall of love, where each willing will be able to confess their feelings and receive a Valentine card in return. You will have a chance to show your strength in climbing a pillar. In return, you will receive a prise. Folk and modern collectives will perform at the fest. There will also be an entertaining programme and competitions. People will determine the tastiest palachintas. As it will be 27-28 February, the last days of winter, we will see off the winter and welcome the spring. We will burn the winter spirit. The event will be organised with a 100% nice mood and on a high level. We have found patrons who will help us arrange the territory of the festival. I hope, weather won't let us down this time," – says Volodymyr Bilonka.
