On December 31, on the border with Romania, border guards detained a Ukrainian, who tried to carry a device for shooting rubber bullets across the border. The 30-year-old man arrived at the checkpoint "Solotvyno" in a car Volkswagen and chose the "green corridor" lane to cross the border. However, based on analysis and risk assessment, border guards initiated the withdrawal of the car out the general queue for in-depth inspection. During the joint border and customs inspection, they found under the seat of the car a device for shooting rubber bullets ZORAKI MOD 2918 and 45 cartridges for it in the glove compartment.
The pistol and ammunition were seized according to the law.
