The IV International “Bograch Championship 2016” will take palce in Transcarpathia (Announcement)

On May 8, the IV International "Bograch Championship – 2016" will take place in the village of Koson in Beregovo district.

The beginning of the Championship is at 06.00. The official opening will start at 12.00.

The championship in cooking of the Hungarian dish "bograch" is a culinary team competition and is not profitable. The event will be attended by teams from Ukraine, Hungary and Romania.The winner will receive the grand prize – 25,000 UAH.

The championship is conducted to present the traditions and recipes of Hungarian cuisine; expansion of cultural relations between different ethnic groups; strengthening of Ukraine-Hungarian relations; popularization of Hungarian culture in Ukraine.

During the championship, there will be a fair, tastings, workshops of craftsmen, photo shoots, concert and entertainment program and more.
