The “first-graders boom” Mukachevo: more than 300 children expressed a desire to become students

In the first week of April, in Mukachevo, 329 applications for enrollment of children to the first grade were submitted.

Most of the submitted applications are for enrollment of children to the school №4 – 41 and the secondary school №11 – 39. None applications have been submitted to the school №14 – the head of Mukachevo city executive committee education department Katerina Kryshinets-Andyaloshiy said.

The prerequisite for enrollment of a child to the 1st grade is the application of parents. The period for submission of applications for enrollment is from April 1 to August 25, for specialized schools – from April 1 and no later than three days prior to the competitive selection (interview).

The application addressed to the school principal shall be submitted to the registrar. A copy of the child’s birth certificate shall be attached to the application for enrollment. 

Based on the applications, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, documents confirming the address of residence or registration of the applicant, the registrar enters the information stated in the application to the Register – Mukachevo city council informs.
