Beauty saves lives: in Uzhgorod, art will help to raise money for an imager

Volunteers of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers will be selling pictures of famous regional painters with musical accompaniment and under candlelight.
The exhibition and sale will unfold during the chamber concert of classical music under candlelight "Music of Spring" to be held on April 25 in the courtyard of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum.   Works of many famous composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach, Pablo Sarasate, Henrich Wieniawski, Camille Saint-Saens, Niccolo Paganini, Carol Lipinski, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Victor Telychko, Astor Piazzolla (music for films) will be performed at the concert. The event is organized by the NGO "Free Stage" and the music will be performed by winners of international and national competitions.

The volunteers believe that the event of this level will bring together Transcarpathian elite, people who know how to appreciate classical music, and therefore are not indifferent to art. "We still lack 1,470 euros to purchase a thermal imager, the full price is 2,450 euros. The need for this device in the East is extremely urgent, because our 128th Brigade is fighting in the hottest spots: Avdiyivka, Butovka mine, Krasnohorivka. This unit will be transferred to a separate scout platoon of a mechanized battalion" – the head of the volunteer Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers Galina Yartseva said.
Mostly, volunteers sell paintings of Transcarpathian artists over the Internet, but to see them live – it’s a completely different perception. Prices for paintings are very affordable and the authors are very famous, including Odarka Dolgosh, Olena Kondratyuk, Taras Usyk, Lesya Pryimych, and many others. You can view and buy paintings on the official website of the exhibition – http://ukrtoloka.com.ua/.
