Volodymyr Chubirko: "The government will continue to support Transcarpathian soldiers"

Today, at the RSA, there was an expanded meeting on the next wave of mobilization.

The event was attended by the regional administration, local government representatives, heads of cities and districts, experts of military commissariats, military officers. During the mobilization in January-April, it is planned to call up 3000 men in Transcarpathia. Medical examinations will be taking place in district and city military commissariats until the end of January.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko noted that such steps are necessary because the country is still in a state of undeclared war. "We have to replace the guys that have been there for a year. We must replace them with people who can perform combat missions, experts in military affairs. To make soldiers ready to effectively carry out their tasks, the Ministry of Defense must provide the army with modern equipment and train soldiers to protect their people. Of course, because of the mobilization, every family is worried. The main thing that we have to do today is to conduct outreach. Deputies of the Regional Council will do everything possible to help the participants of the ATO. Last year alone, we allocated from the budget nearly 20 million hryvnias for that purpose. We are providing and will keep providing assistance to these families. We appeal to foreign partners and they also help us with the treatment of the wounded men. We promise that we will not leave anyone to fend for themselves. The government will support Transcarpathian soldiers in every possible way", - the Chairman of the Regional Council concluded.
