Uzhgorod customs officers seized contraband cigarettes worth over 7,000 UAH
Yesterday, January 25, 2015, customs officials and border guards, during the control of a train at the checkpoint "Pavlove-Matyovtse", found 920 boxes of foreign cigarettes without Ukrainian excise stamps. The train was en route to Slovakia, and the cigarettes were found in a railroad tank, on both sides of a frame beam.
Smugglers wanted to carry across the border 220 packs of "Jin Ling" and 700 packs of "NZ black" super slim. Their total value is 7,360 UAH.
Currently, tobacco products have been confiscated, the train was sent to the destination abroad, and the report on the customs inspection of the found goods, whose owner is not identifed, was drawn up.
