Ukrainians buy less foreign currency

In 2014 Ukrainians bought 2.41 billion dollars of foreign currency more than sold, which is 16.3% less than that in 2013.

According to the National Bank, in December last year, the people bought 47.1 million dollars of foreign currency more than sold, while in November - 21.3 million dollars more.

In December, Ukrainians sold 148.1 million dollars of foreign currency, bought - 195.2 million dollars which, respectively, is 15.8% and 1% less than that in November 2014.

Bank deposits of individuals in freely convertible currency fell in December by 503.8 million dollars to 13.552 billion dollars. The outflow has been taking place for 15 consecutive months.
