As informed by experts of the Regional Employment Center in Transcarpathian region, according to the Part 2 of Art. 27 of the Law of Ukraine "On Employment", business entities engaged in priority economic activities, that employ unemployed persons under referrals of employment centers, shall be provided compensation for actual expenses in the amount of the single contribution for obligatory state social insurance of the employee.
Therefore, in accordance with Art. 26 of the Law of Ukraine "On Employment", employers, who employ for new jobs citizens with additional guarantees in employment promotion and who have been granted status of unemployed persons, for a period of at least two years, shall be monthly reimbursed actual expenses in the amount of single contribution for obligatory state social insurance of the person in question.
Last year, specialists of district employment centers of the region employed 394 unemployment persons on new jobs with compensation of the single contribution to employers totaling 2.2 million hryvnias. As of 23.01.2015, 144,000 UAH of this amount has not been paid.
In addition, 55 people aged over 45 years received vouchers for training. More than 2500 registered unemployed countrymen had additional guarantees in employment promotion. Last year, almost 10000 unemployed persons were registered in the region, of whom 6000 live in rural areas.
