The authorities tighten measures to ensure security of citizens and infrastructure

This task was put to the heads of regional state administrations by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Friday, January 23, during the All-Ukrainian conference call that took place with the participation of the National Security Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, heads of law enforcement agencies and the National Guard.

 Transcarpathia during the conference was represented by the Deputy Head of the RSA Mykhailo Rivis, heads of law enforcement agencies, security forces of the region and the Office of the State Emergencies Service in the region.

"The main objective of today's conference is the coordination of activities to ensure the safety of citizens, protection of the most important infrastructure facilities, public safety, strengthened patrolling of Ukrainian cities so that every Ukrainian feel safe in this very difficult situation," - the Prime-Minister of Ukraine Yatsenyuk said.

Therefore, the Prime-Minister Yatsenyuk instructed the heads of regional state administrations to conduct daily briefings with representatives of law enforcement agencies to coordinate activities on public safety and protection of infrastructure facilities.

The head of the Cabinet also noted that the heads of RSAs, who by the law manage civil defense in the regions, should work in daily operational mode.

After the conference call, the Deputy Governor Mykhailo Rivis instructed the present heads of organizations and agencies to take steps to perform the tasks put by the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
