One scammer cheated a friend out of a tablet, another one – a schoolgirl out of a mobile phone

Precinct inspectors of Mukachevo city police caught two local residents who fraudulently seized a tablet and a mobile phone "Samsung". Both Mukachevo residents will be prosecuted for the committed actions under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
 
A 35-year-old man reported to Mukachevo city police that about six months ago his friend had taken his tablet on the pretext of selling. Since then, he had been "palming him off with promises" that he would return either the tablet, or the money…
 
After the check, precinct inspectors found out that a few months ago the unscrupulous man had pawned the tablet and spent the money.
 
In addition, parents of another victim recently appealed to the presinct inspector of Mukachevo city police. A guy cheated a touchscreen mobile phone "Samsung" out of a schoolgirl . The pre-trial investigation found out that the boy had taken the cell phone from the child under the pretext of making a call and inserted his own SIM-card. Then, pretending to be talking on the phone, he walked away… 
 
Currently, the investigation continues, and criminal proceedings have been opened over these facts under Part 1 of Art.190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud). The sanction this Article provides for punishment by a fine in amount of fifty tax-free minimum incomes, or correctional works.
